Official selection / special jury award for Los Angeles Film Awards

In the summer of 2021, two artists are invited to paint a mural on the island of Shishmaref, Alaska. As they learn more about the culture and the impact of the melting permafrost that erodes away at the island each year, they begin uncovering the deeper history of the local Inupiaq people and their future in the face of climate disaster.
