We traveled across the country to film this project. Editing a short film with diverse scenes, people, and locations has long been my passion, and working with top-tier chefs who represent the best of Japan’s culinary scene was a once-in-a-lifetime blessing for my career—especially since I started working on both sides of the Pacific.
